Weigh your baby

Use a baby scale. Zero it, lay your baby calmly, and record the weight.

Measure the waist

Measure around the narrowest part, keeping the tape snug but leaving space for 1–2 fingers.

Measure the thigh

Measure around the thickest part of the upper thigh.
